New UPB 8-Button Tabletop Pedestal Controller
SAN DIEGO, CA – March 29, 2006 – www.Simply-Automated.com, Simply Automated, Incorporated
is pleased to announce the immediate availability of their new 8-Button Tabletop Pedestal
Controller, offered in white and black.
The new US28xTP 8-Button Tabletop Pedestal Controller is designed around the popular
SimplyBrilliant US2-40 UPB transceiver switch base that has over 50 different field configurable
faceplate options. The new Tabletop Pedestal can be preconfigured with an 8-button (bar or oval)
faceplate and enabled for remote ON/OFF and dimming control of any UPB device in the home.
With no new wiring or use of radio frequency signals, Home Owners now have the ability to control
their UPB lighting where ever a power outlet is available. Beautiful lighting scenes or just basic
safety and security can be realized using the Tabletop Controller with UPB wall switches, plug-in
and fixture modules.
Each button of the Tabletop Controller can be linked to a specific UPB device or it can be
programmed to activate a lighting scene made up of several UPB lighting control devices.
Installation is simple: plug it into any standard duplex receptacle in the home. Once the US28xTP
is configured, it can be unplugged and moved anywhere in the home without losing its
programming. The Tabletop Controller is easy to manually programmed after initial configuration.
The Tabletop Pedestal Controller like all Simply Automated UPB products has been tested and
found to comply with Underwriter’s Laboratories standards, specifically dimming controls (UL-
1472), and is listed with the ETL mark.
The elegant design of the Tabletop Pedestal was made to complement the décor of most homes.
As a convenient entertainment room accessory or a nightstand necessity, the table top controller is
an excellent addition to any UPB home automation solution.
The Tabletop Pedestals are available now for immediate shipment, with an MSRP of $119.95.
