The UPStart software makes it a breeze to set them up. I am slowly replacing every switch in my house with a Simply Automated UPB device. I currently have 27 and I’m about to buy my 28th. It’s becoming an addiction. These devices are rock solid. I have never had one fail. I use them in conjunction with my HAI Omni IIe automation system. However, they also work great as a stand-alone system. If you plan to install a bunch of these as I have, I highly recommend some sort of whole-house surge suppressor.”

“I add to this the 8 oval buttons faceplate, the faceplate is a little clicky for my like but works, I used this transmitter with the dimmer receiver and used 5w leds and works flawlessly, flicker free, will buy 2 more receivers for 2 other sets of ligths at home, the configuration is very simple, installation as well, i did it myself, still the instructions wasn’t too clear, but I manage my way to understand it at the end. I did an exhaustive search of lighting control technologies, found UPB to be the optimum vs. Z-wave, (Lutron) Radio RA, SmartHome (Insteon) in the Home Automation market. Insteon and X-10 on the low-end, do not work. Simply Automated provided me the very best value using UPB technology. Great support. Ken was fantastic answering my questions.
