The 3-Speed Fan Controller utilizes an internal, capacitive, speed-control circuit that quietly drives fans as large as 300 watts (2.5 Amps). Four buttons, each with a status indicating LED, are used for high, medium and low speeds, as well as On/Off lighting control.
The Model UCQF-W is the first Universal Powerline Bus (UPB) transceiver switch to incorporate fan and lighting control. It is ideal for any UPB home automation system and can be automatically controlled from other home automation system, security systems and smart phones. Since the fan controller is a UPB transceiver switch, each of the 4-buttons can also control other UPB dimmers and relay (on/off) devices. As an example, the same buttons that control the fan can also turn on other lighting in the room and home. The fan controller can also be controlled by other UPB switches’ buttons or rockers, having the ability to receive and respond to UPB lighting scene commands.
