SimplyBrilliant® US11-40 W home automation, lighting control, is a Standard UPB Dimmer-Controller Switch Base (model US1-40) with gloss white faceplate (model ZS11-W) and countdown timer feature. Color options for the single rocker faceplate (ZS11 Series, sold separately) are available in almond, light-almond, ivory, black or brown. The faceplates are easily changed in the home. The US11-40 W provides ultra-reliable control and timed off control of new and existing lighting fixtures, lamps, fans and other electrical devices. Each unit has one switch that controls a load of 1 Watt minimum to 900 Watts maximum. It can also transmit and receive lighting scene commands and status with other Universal Powerline Bus (UPB) switches, plug-in modules, fixture modules as well as any PC / security / home / automation controller that provides a UPB serial driver option (see FAQs for a current listing) – to control virtually anything that connects to AC power anywhere in the home.
The timer automatically turns off the switch load after a pre-set period of 1, 5 or 30 seconds, 1, 2, 4, 10, 20, 30, 40, or 50 minutes, 1, 2, 3, or 4 hours. The timer can be disabled so the US11 functions as a standard single rocker switch (no timer function) or enabled to activate with a rocker push (e.g. single push turns on with timer, double push turns on without timer, or visa versa). A UPB switch, such as the model US2-40 Universal Dimmer- Controller, can also command any of the timer functions of the US11, via lighting scene-links, to enable any selection of timed off options (e.g. buttons for 1 minute, 4 minutes, 10 minutes, 1 hour).
Fade rates are also configurable (e.g. snap, 0.8, 1.6, 3.3, 5, 6.6, 10, 20, 30 seconds, or 1, 2, 5, 10, 15, 30 minutes) and the rocker can control both the local load and a lighting scene separately. For example, press and hold the rocker to dim up/down, single tap to fade to 100%/0%, and double tap to send a scene link with or without affecting the local load. The performance and flexibility of Simply Automated’s switch solutions are simply brilliant.
I just got some Soraa 9.8w led mr16 GU20 socket bulbs and they don’t dim unless there is one standard bulb and the other three can be the Soraa.
None of this is your problem, but I wanted to see if you offer any products that I can use to dim the low wattage led (total of only 4 9.8w bulbs in a ceiling fixture). Maybe load simulators or a newer led friendly dimmer switch (I currently have a HAI 35-a00 dimmer in there now).
Try my Simply Automated dimmer part number US1-40. Lower cost. Better value. Lower minimum load requirement. The US1-40 has a very low minimum load requirement (less than 1 watt). I have LEDs all over my house and the Simply Automated dimmers work very well. Simply Automated provides the optimum lighting control/automation solution in the home automation market.
